It's been an interesting few days. I've been exploring the themes of synchronicity, purpose and making changes the last couple of days. In that spirit I received a wonderfully created envelope and note from someone today. I had met her last year at yoga when she was here doing a 1 month health survey for the government and helped her to get into the darkroom at the college to develop some pictures she had taken. We hadn't really kept in touch, so it was interesting to hear from her at this time. Beyond an update of what is going on, she wrote an quote from Audre Lorde on a picture she had taken....."When I dare to be powerful-to use my strength in the service of my vision-then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid"
It was something I needed to hear and food for thought. I thought this capture of a sculpture near the Ferry Building in SF fit the theme.
